Who We Are

Padraic F.X. Dugan Esq.

Founder and President

Padraic F.X. Dugan prides himself on treating his clients with great patience and dignity during what can be an exceedingly difficult time in their lives. After law school, Mr. Dugan obtained a prestigious Judicial Clerkship with the Hon. Robert A. Coogan, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey Division of Equity and Chancery Family Part. After his clerkship, he began his private practice career as an attorney at James P. Yudes, PC, specializing in all family law areas including but not limited to: divorce and separation, domestic violence, high asset complex financial matters, and contentious child custody issues. Mr. Dugan was contributing editor on Yudes Consumer Guide to Divorce and the yearly Yudes Family Law Citator. After close to a decade of practice, Mr. Dugan went on to found the Jersey City based firm, Friendly Family Law, LLC, which sets out to serve the community with compassion and justice.

He currently resides in the Hamilton Park neighborhood of Jersey City with his wife and best friend, Arielle. In 2017, Mr. Dugan launched a campaign for City Councilperson to represent Downtown Jersey City under the banner of “Putting People Before Politics.” Mr. Dugan went onto endorse the eventual winner and current Councilperson James Solomon. Mr. Dugan remains active as an advocate for social justice issues in the Jersey City Community.
